Tower Hamlets Lib Dems join MP at Chinese Embassy Protest

Local Campaigners Seb Villars & Guy Benson joined Bobby Dean MP at the Royal Mint, protesting the Chinese Embassy planned for the site.

Liberal Democrats consistently opposed this plan as it is a threat to national security and the safety of Hong Kongers and Tibetan residents in the city. The site lies directly above communication cables between Canary Wharf and the City of London which could easily be accessed by occupants of the site.

Seb & Guy have spoken with local residents regularly on this issue and want to protect Tower Hamlets from this development. They are actively speaking with residents' groups and supporting wherever possible.
