Tabitha Potts for Mile End
Tabitha Potts has lived in East London for much of her life, growing up on Brick Lane and attending Central Foundation School for Girls. She is passionate about the area and has worked and volunteered in Tower Hamlets for years, teaching ESOL for a Spitalfields charity, founding a small business and running a playgroup in Stepney.
Currently, she works as a writer and digital marketer. She joined the Liberal Democrats due to strong feelings about Brexit but was also attracted by their environmental stance, educational ideas and commitment to an open, tolerant and united society. As a parent living in the area, she is particularly interested in issues that affect local young people and families. She is proud to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community and hopes very much to represent the people of Mile End in Tower Hamlets Council.
