In a response to an enquiry submitted in August 2021, Tower Hamlets Council said they were “reviewing all options” with no fixed guarantee to restore and subsequently reopen the Leisure Centre.
This is not good enough. We must Demand Better.
Tower Hamlets Liberal Democrats are committed to making sure that St George’s is brought back into use, and will continue to campaign alongside local residents to make sure this happens.
