Linda Packard for Spitalfields & Banglatown
Linda is a retired solicitor, who lives with her husband in Tower Hamlets. She is a Sloan Fellow of The London Business School and an entrepreneur who has built two successful buisnesses.
Her priorities are:
- Improving housing, including building on brown field sites . She has experience of planning and believes developers should be brought to account when they do not deliver the specified numbers of low cost housing.
- Law and Order. As a former member of a police authority Linda believes that this is a priority for Tower Hamlets.
- Rubbish. The lack of effective recycling is a major problem. The many blocks of flats in our ward need additional help to be able to recycle their rubbish effectively.
