TOWER HAMLETS CONFERENCE MOTION DISCUSSION

Brighton_image.jpg

Tower Hamlets Lib Dems are moving a motion at the Autumn conference on Tackling Corruption and Corporate Crime.

The motion calls for increased transparency in British Overseas Territories as well increased support for open standards in public contracting as well as reassurance that the UK will continue to support standards set by the European Union to combat financial crime.

We'd like to give members a chance to discuss the issues in the motion and consider whether additional items should be submitted as an amendment.

We have also invited external expert speakers to take part - names to be confirmed soon.
