Pizza & Politics, Wednesday 20th July

City & East Lib Dems (Newham, Barking & Dagenham and Tower Hamlets) are hosting an evening of discussion following the result of the EU Referendum. This will also be a social event and we strongly encourage all members to come along to meet fellow party members and find out how they can get more involved in the local party.

The staff at Moka East are fantastic hosts and there will be food and drink available to purchase there.

Speakers include;

Paul Reynolds - Former parliamentary candidate for West Ham, Lib Dem policy adviser and foreign affairs exper

Jonathan Fryer - Fomer parliamentary candidate for Poplar and Limehouse, journalist and broadcaster

The evening will be co-chaired by Lib Dem peer Lord German and local party chair Natascia Servini.

What does it all mean for the future of politics?

What sort of relationship should we have with the 27 who remain - Norway, Canada or Albania?

How do we calm fears of EU citizens living here, and what about the rise in racist attacks?

Will Scotland go for another independence referendum, and does it mean the end of the UK this time?

Do you think Brexit is even inevitable?

There are many sides to the discussion. Please come along and help us plan a way out of this mess!

Please contact Stephen on 07505 982212 if you have any questions.  We look forward to seeing you there!
