Eimear O’Casey for Bow East
Eimear O’Casey has lived in Bow East for two years, and in East London for five. She has been a member of the Lib Dems for seven years, and actively campaigning with the Lib Dems in Tower Hamlets since 2016.
Eimear is a magistrate (justice of the peace) in East London, sitting at courts in Stratford and Bow. She also co-chairs the East London branch of the Open Britain campaign group, engaging with constituents of East London to fight against a hard Brexit.
In her day job, Eimear is an analyst on the Former Soviet Union for a political risk consultancy. She advises organisations and companies operating in this region, and has a specific interest in anti-bribery and corruption. Eimear also volunteers as an election observer across Eurasia.
“Crime and anti-social behaviour are major concerns for Bow residents, and can be tackled through greater investment in youth services and CCTV”.
