Find out more about the Bartlett Park Masterplan

The Bartlett Park Masterplan scheme has been in the pipeline for some years. It affects the whole of the park and the old adventure playground across the road that has been closed for some time.

The changes being proposed include:

  • Closing Cottall Street to traffic so cars and motorbikes won’t be able to use it anymore

  • Removing the railings and having a gentler ramp from the new open area to the canal. This is so you can get canoes onto the water

  • Turning the adventure playground into a community garden and tennis courts

  • Creating a new dog walking area at the bottom of the park near Lindfield Street

Having your say

We are working to get a public meeting about the plans set up before the end of the year. In the meantime, you can request further information from the Council at Bartlett.park@towerhamlets.gov.uk
